To: Dad - Father's Day Gift Guide
THE LIST
Starting out with the Mr. Beer (name says it all!) kit for making microbrews at home. Read the previously posted full review here. Not only is it relatively fast, the instructions were easy to follow and there is room to customize ones beer.
Next some pretty unique over the ear headphones called Flips. While they're not noise cancelling (especially nice if there is a lot of racket and crying about) they do fit snugly to envelope him with HD sound. Then when the headphones are flipped around, they become speakers anyone can enjoy. (see our full review here).
Having a well stocked dopp kit ready to go makes life so much less stressful and putting one together yourself can really customize it for the experiences he's into most (fishing, camping, traveling for business and so on). See some favorite picks on what to put inside here along with a cool dopp bag from Pendleton here.
Mission has expanded on their enduracool towels to now also include cooling blankets. When splashed with a little water and snapped (flicked) they become magically cool. It always amazes me to feel it work and these have come in handy so many times. Not just after exercise but while doing lawn care, fishing, at the beach, golf... you name it on super hot and humid days.
Monograms are one of the most personal of gifts and Dad's are uniquely suited. Almost anything they love or currently enjoy can be taken up a notch with a monogram. This cool personalized flask and shot glass gift set is perfect for the golf course or camping.
Finally one of the best and most complete cocktail books I have ever come across which also looks swank sitting on the bar as well. Read the previously posted full review on Ultimate Bar Book - The Comprehensive Guide to Over 1,000 Cocktails by Mittie Hellmich here.
Wishing every Dad out there a very happy Father's Day!
