Weekend Tramezzini & Wine

Previously a few favorite sweet tea sandwich recipes were featured and now for a savory Venetian versions called Tramezzini. When in a pinch to bring something to a get together, especially picnics, these are my go to quick fix.

Crustless white bread, a slathering of mayonnaise and a pinch at the corners sets Tramezzini slightly apart from other tea sandwiches. To fill these, hard boiled egg and pepper with tuna fish, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese with a drizzle of olive oil and classic cucumber from the garden.


Served here with some organic white wine in my favorite Swirl stemless goblets.
