Autumn Staples

This Fall we have so many delicious things to look forward to that it's hard not to start day dreaming. Picking apples and turning them into cider, the crunchy falling leaves and buttery fresh smell of pumpkin. Even though it literally feels so warm and summery right now which is the funny part about here. One never knows what they'll get. Sunny days and blazing fall foliage or very dark days filled with endless rain.

Still, one thing that remains a constant when it comes to change of seasons is opening that ceder chest and pulling out all those cozy knits and saying hello to all those beloved pairs of boots that are going slosh through the puddles again. Trying a bevy of deeper, more resinous scents hoping to find something perfect or picking out chunkier pieces of jewelry to liven up all that olive, gray and taupe. October's crispness, in one way or another, is just around the corner and these are a few things to give it a warm welcome no matter what it turns out to bring with it.
