DIY Flavored Butters 3 Ways
Whipping up these flavored butters is really easy! Use slightly room temperature unsalted butter and either a whisk or, as I like to, a mortar and pestle to cream everything together well. Then transfer to a container or roll into logs between sheets of wax paper and pop into the fridge. Here's how to do it 3 ways:
Ingredients
- Spicy Roasted Garlic Butter
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves roasted garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon chopped hot peppers
- 1 teaspoon salt
- A dash of freshly ground white Muntok pepper to taste

- Lavender, Chive and Parsley Butter
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon lavender buds
- 4 Tablespoons chopped chives
- 4 Tablespoons chopped parsley

- Sweet Nutty Cheese Butter
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 Tablespoons Roquefort blue cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 Tablespoons finely chopped or ground pecan nuts
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
Using a mortar and pestle to cream everything together well. Then transfer to a container such as a decorative crock perfect for giving as a gift or roll into logs between sheets of wax paper and pop into the fridge to fully chill.
