Just in time for Mothers Day and all the wild purple violets blooming now is an easy to make edible lip scrub gift idea

The wild purple violets are in full bloom and Mother's Day is around the corner which means only one thing. A DIY beauty gift idea! This time violets (or organic rose petals) are used for a yummy candy violet lip scrub that smooths and moisturizes naturally. It also tastes absolutely delicious and can be licked off. Making it great to pop in my tote for a day at the beach.

Recipe:
- 1/4 Cup white or raw sugar
- 2 Tab. coconut oil (mine used here is organic extra virgin by Nature's Approved)
- 1/4 Cup fresh violet flowers or rose petals (organically grown or wildcrafted in an area where no cars or exhaust has been present)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon honey
- A clean jar / container to store it in
