Flat Tire Décor

A little while back  Flat Tire Décor emailed to introduce their line of really unique bags and baskets. Teaming up with Easter Seals, an organization helping people with disabilities gain greater independence, each is crafted in the Milwaukee area and made out of old tires. They let me know they're not only proud of their line but the people making these one of a kind gift finds too. Something truly felt in each of their pieces. Hard not to wonder how many miles these have traveled and where! The stories they must have.

Over the weekend we put a few rubbery pieces from their collection to task with a bit of oyster shucking, which their Newport basket turned out to be perfect for, and bike riding with their soft Tube Tote. Not surprisingly these are great in the rain. Now if only they made some tube bike panniers (hint, hint).
