Sur La Table can be a dangerous place, especially around the holidays, because everything is perfectly enticing (hello bacon and cheese Christmas ornaments!). Walking around recently what really caught my eye were a set of napkin rings. Very simple they were thin loops wrapped in rusty velvet ribbon and dangling from each, a mini pine cone ornament. They seemed a good candidate for a DIY project and here are the results. The technique for making these is exactly the same as my previous
Grosgrain ribbon wrapped ones only dangling miniature Christmas ornaments are used in place of vintage jewelry and the rings are much thinner.
