Antique and foreign postage stamps are an absolute favorite for adding to packages (sometimes unnecessarily), gift wrapping and in place of where the bow could go. Speaking of going bow-less I also adore paper airplane love letters (here on golden parchment) and how you can have them double as bow and gift tag in one.
