Inspiration: Josef Albers

This Summer I really want to get color blocked and who better to personify this than artist Josef Albers and his homage to squares series. Squares that fit perfectly on the top of gift boxes. What I like the most is this is the perfect way to recycle paper and bits of left over gift wrap... the squares are off kilter too = perfection. These are the prototypes, as soon as I find the right shape of wooden boxes some lacquered versions are coming next.
