The new Just Stand Up! for cancer song is now out on iTunes. The song pulls together Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Natasha Bedingfield, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Carrie Underwood, Keyshia Cole, LeAnn Rimes, Ashanti, Ciara & Mariah Carey with proceeds from each song sold going to various cancer charaties through SU2C. They've been playing this song on Z100 for a while now and it's really uplifting and a great song to send / give! Gave That gives it major thumbs up!
Macy's and The National Park Foundation have teamed up with a line of organic cotton tees (Celebri-Tees) designed by various celebs (Nelly, Paris Hilton,Tim Gunn, etc.) with $5 from each one sold going to the charity. My fave is the one done by Donna Karen. These are being sold in select stores so you may want to call ahead of time to find out if your Macy's has them. Long sleeve Celebri-tees are $28. and short sleeve ones retail for $24.
MARK (Avon) and Lauren Conrad have teamed up to create a cute necklace for the M.Powerment by MARK campaign. Each heart necklace will have 100% of its proceeds going to the movement to stop dating abuse. The necklaces retail for $22. through MARK. As seen in Star. At the time of this post we could not find the necklace at MARK's website so it may not be out yet, we did find the Empowerment bracelet for $3 each with proceeds donated to the UNIFEM project.
Mel B of the Spice Girls along with poseforthecure.org have tossed theirhat shirt into the charity ring saying, "I've always had a passion for fashion, and the 'Pose for the Cure' campaign enables me to apply that passion to a good cause.". Each shirt sells for $24.99 at the above website with free S&H. $10.59 from each sale will go to the Susan G. Kormen for the Cure to aid breast cancer research.
